What does this mean?
The BAMHA is searching for players that possess strong leadership qualities and technical ability to work alongside and under the direction of our Technical Directors, to develop and elevate the BAMHA development program, specific but not limited to the U7 and U9 levels.
We are looking for young, enthusiastic athletes who want to hone their leadership abilities through our athletic rewards program.
What does the program offer our Elite Jr. Coaches?
Our Elite Jr. Coaches will enhance their character building, leadership qualities, added value on ice personal development and team building skills. They will receive elite off ice training seminars and have a sense of accomplishment and pride in their personal skill development. Last but not least, “BAMHA Athletic Reward Credits.” Jr.Coaches will receive credits towards their registration fees.
What does the program give back to the association?
By enhancing and offering these benefits to our Jr. elite athletes, we have the ability to grow and develop our minor hockey program at the grassroots level; which encompasses the U7 and U9 program specifically. The philosophy which leads to core foundations of further growth and development of our youngest athletes.
Selected Elite Jr. Coaches will receive:
Jersey and socks
Ball cap
Player selection:
Players must submit/fill out the form provided by BAMHA
Players are selected based on:
Character
On ice skill performance
Off ice skill performance
Leadership ability
Good listening skills
Availability/Punctuality
High standard role model behavior
Sets an example for others
A player must demonstrate most, if not all, of the above characteristics to be considered for a Jr. Elite Coach.
